The trend for average home prices turned upwards again in May as people adjusted to the pandemic and buyers began to re-enter the market. But sellers stayed on the sidelines. This is the same ol’ story in the GTA – demand exceeding supply, pushing prices upwards.

The long-term economics effects of the pandemic are yet to be determined – will we see a buyer’s market during the pandemic? Time will tell.
