As I’ve noted in previous posts, April of 2020 was an unusual month, as it was the first full month of the pandemic in the GTA; in addition to the volume of sales being down, average home prices were also down in April 2020. So, here we see that the average home prices (April 2021 vs April 2020) in every category are up in the double-digits for all home types, which isn’t surprising since we know that the market recovered from that initial hit of the pandemic.
